Radon Testing: Radon is a naturally occurring
radioactive gas found in soils, rock, and water throughout the U.S. Radon is a threat to health because it tends to collect
in homes, sometimes to very high concentrations. See Radon FAQ.
*Wood-destroying organisms Inspections: These pests cause serious
damage to wooden structures and posts and can also attack stored food, household furniture, and books. Getting a termite inspection
in south florida is always highly recommended . See Termite Facts.
Mold Screenings/Testing: There are many types of mold, and none of them will grow
without water or moisture. Molds can produce allergens, irritants, and in some cases, potentially toxic substances. The only
way to know if you have a indoor air quality problem is to perform the mold screening. See Mold FAQ.
Potable Water Testing: Should you have your water tested? For the health and safety
of you and your family it’s a good idea. Your water should be safe to drink and acceptable for all other household uses.
Besides illness, a variety of less serious issues such as taste, color, odor and staining of clothes or fixtures are symptoms
of water quality problems. Even water that appears problem-free may not necessarily be safe or acceptable.
Septic
System Inspections: If you are buying a home with a septic tank, you should consider having it inspected
by a professional septic contractor. Our standard home inspection does not include this type of specialized, intrusive inspection.
To properly inspect the septic tank and system in Florida, the contractor will need to dig holes to access the underground
parts of the system. This will include inspecting the tank, as well as the leach field.
*Wood-destroying
organisms Inspections are performed by a licensed pest control operator
